yes...being ghosted still hurts

Can I admit something?
Even after all this time, being ghosted still stings.

People often assume that once you've been in business for a while you develop thick skin, but I'm not sure that's ever completely true. Every conversation matters to me because every person matters to me. When someone spends time with me, shares their health journey, asks thoughtful questions and tells me they've finally found something that gives them hope, it's hard not to become invested in their story too.

We'll laugh together, talk about what's been happening in their life and explore what frequency wellness might look like for them. They'll ask for information, promise to have a look, and sometimes we'll even make plans to chat again.

Then... nothing.

For a long time I questioned myself. Did I say too much? Not enough? Did I follow up too soon? Should I have waited longer? Was there another question I should have asked?

Over time I've realised something important.

People don't always disappear because they aren't interested. Life has a habit of getting in the way. Finances change. Family becomes the priority. Health takes another turn. Work becomes overwhelming. Sometimes people simply aren't ready to make a decision, even when they genuinely want to.

I've also learned that someone's silence isn't a measure of my worth, my business or the technology I believe in. It's simply where they are in their own journey.

And here's the beautiful part.

Some of the people who once disappeared eventually come back. Sometimes it's weeks later. Sometimes months. Every now and then I receive a message that simply says, "I'm finally ready."
Those moments remind me that hope doesn't always work to our timetable. Seeds don't all grow at the same speed, and neither do people.

So yes, being ghosted still isn't my favourite part of what I do. I'd much rather have an honest "no" than silence. But it no longer stops me from showing up.

Because somewhere out there is another person who is searching for hope, and they deserve someone who's willing to keep the conversation going.

So tomorrow, I'll keep making the calls, answering the messages, setting up another Frequency Awakening event and believing that the right people will arrive exactly when they're ready.

After all, hope has a funny way of finding people at just the right time.
